You are complex and your pain is real. And you deserve options.
For some, MRI results serve as proof of their pain, and a diagnosis gives them a name that explains their suffering. Others think surrendering to a diagnosis means giving up the sports and activities they love, accepting surgery as inevitable, or living a life sentence of chronic pain.
If you aren’t willing to accept these limitations… If you want to explore options that complement the standard prescription of medication, physical therapy, and surgery… we need to meet!
You deserve a practitioner who’s thinking beyond the box – asking, “What else can we try?” That’s what I do for my clients – and that’s what I’ll do for you.
A diagnosis is not the end. It’s where our work begins.
After more than two decades of treating chronic and acute pain, I’ve learned to keep my focus on your symptoms. I never “disregard” a diagnosis, but I also won’t allow our thinking to be limited by it.
Imaging, such as an MRI, is a piece of the puzzle, but positive findings are not always the cause of your pain. Pain is a multidimensional experience, which may or may not correspond to actual tissue damage. Never let your pain or your diagnosis define you.
